UFO-loonies and snake-oil salesmen
I occasionally browse and read this wonderful and extremely amusing forum called AboveTopSecret. It’s perhaps the largest online forum devoted entirely to topics like UFOs, conspiracies, New World Order, telepathy and PSI powers or other such alternative/New Age stuff. The majority of the posts are pretty boring and follow the generic “Barack Obama/goverment is evil” laments, but from time to time you can find real gems such as Project Camelot interview Dr Steven Greer.
For those of you who are not familiar with the ufo-scene (lol), let me do the introductions:
Dr Steven Greer (interviewee) became first known as a founder of The Disclosure Project which goal was to disclose facts about UFOs by taking witness testimonies from the government/military people and then request congressional hearings on the subject. This project failed, and Dr Greer managed to tape only 12 or so testimonies. Dr Greer soon discovered he can make much more money if he just bullshits people. So he started making up extraordinary claims (everything from having conversations with CIA director and the Clinton’s about ETs for hours and military nerve gas attacks to ET bases to the man-made bio-nano reptilian fake-aliens) and founded a new organization called CSETI (Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence), which trains people in making contact with ET’s. This training costs measly $995 and includes study material but not the lodging. After the six days training program participants receive an “Ambassador for the Universe” diploma, and they are then fully prepared to handle contacts with extra-terrestrials in a professional manner. Dr Steven Greer is a charlatan and full of shit.
Project Camelots’ Bill Ryan and Kerry Cassidy (interviewer). Bill Ryan became known as a guy behind Project Serpo website, what was supposed to be a disclosure site for alleged US-aliens exchange programs. Bill started his website after receiving e-mails from mysterious anonymous military contact, who wanted to share this top secret info with Bill and helping him to go public with it. Unfortunately for Bill, project Serpo turned out to be a prank. Soon after serpo ridicule, Bill teamed up with Kerry Cassidy and they started doing video interviews with all kind of people who claimed to have something to do with aliens and government conspiracy. Project Camelot is known to do very little to none cross-checking with any data, and they believe almost anything that is fed to them. Bill and Kerry are true believers who firmly believe the world is going to end in the year 2012.
In this video Kerry gets into a fierce debate with Dr Greer whether all aliens are evil or not, do we really have clean water and air left just for 10 months, and Dr Greer briefs us about demonic entities created/teleported in some underground military complex, yadayada. It’s so silly I have no words to describe it :-) But remember, some people take this absolutely seriously!

You are clearly one of those deluded people that take the bible to literally. Also, the comments about abstaining are found withing the Old Testament, which is no where near as important as the New Testament, which makes no mention of abstaining.

The talk on UFO’s and all those not so earthly creatures will remain to be a myth to the mainstream society. Whether it is true, fabricated, or an outright denial, governments and citizens will never come to an agreement… as what they always say in the movies, “it’s a matter of national security”

Yup I am also non-believer. Telepathy power does not exist. If it would it would be all over the news not just proclaimed by some individuals.

Wow, that’s some hilarious stuff.
“Ambassador for the universe” my ass. I don’t know what’s more hilarious, Mr. Greer doing what he does, or the morons who pay for those diplomas.
Another funny thing was how Mr. Ryan and Mrs. Cassidy just trance out and pay attention while Mr. Greer rambles on and on like a bum on speed.

Say what you will, but Above Top Secret did have a number of interesting photos posted of the lawn area around the Pentagon after the Boeing 757 airliner slammed into it on September 11, 2001. Some of the pictures, generally ignored by the mainstream press, were snapped by journalists within minutes after the disaster and clearly show aircraft parts with the unmistakable American Airlines paint scheme on them. So much for conspiracies about a cruise missile and an “inside job” …

If you guys did your research about Dr. Greer… you would realize
1. He was a medical emergency doctor making more then enough money.
2. he has a wife and 4 kids in college…he gave up his job as a doctor….which is probably well over what u idiots make to persue a cause which is losing and spending more money then its making.
3. Wake up, theres evidence all around us. Who are you to judge someone who is dedicating his life to something your to stubborn to even turn a blind eye towrads. So instead of ripping on this guy, how about u actually do some research of your own and come to your own conclusions instead of dismissing him as a quack based on ignorant bias and prejudice
